“Your network has been at stake and we have secured your most vital files,” the ransom note from hackers said, According to CNN. The news network said the attack was carried out by a gang called Interlock. The Ransomware gang has not yet received publicly credit to Cyberettack, indicating that hackers may still try to negotiate a ransom payment.

Kettering is the last in a series of healthcare companies targeted by hackers, both with ransomware and other types of malware.
