At Google’s Google event on Wednesday, the company announced a new personal health coach with AI built with Gemini coming to Fitbit. The technological giant says that the new personal health coach is a fitness trainer, a sleep coach and a well -being.

Google plans to release a preview of Coach Personal Health as part of the Premium Fitbit in October in the redesigned application available with the latest Fitbit, Fitbit Smart Watches and Pixel Watches.

The personal health coach learns your preferences as you share them and takes into account real -time measurements from the Fitbit or Pixel clock. In addition, it can get information from a smart weight scale or glucose screen.

With the new AI coach, users will be able to create a custom routine after chatting about their goals, preferences and equipment. The AI coach will then create a personalized fitness plan with suggestions and training goals. As you do your workouts, the coach will customize your training plans based on real -time data and ideas to help you achieve your goals.

For example, if you wake up with a low preparedness score due to one night of insomnia, the coach will suggest changes to your weekly plan to help you recover.

If life hinders your weekly plans, you can connect with the AI coach to customize your plans and receive advice. For example, if you hurt your back, you can tell the coach to adjust your workout.

In addition, the AI coach will examine your sleep and give information on how to improve the quality of your sleep over time. Google notes that new advanced algorithms will allow the AI coach to better understand the duration of sleep and the stages of the user. The AI coach will also help users determine how much sleep they really need to perform their best by creating a personalized timetable that adapts to their daily levels of activity.

Google notes that users can ask AI coach to receive personalized answers supported by science. For example, they can ask things like, “Do I have to take an extra time of sleep or work tomorrow?” or “what are the best exercises for weight loss?”

The new AI coach will live in the redesigned fitbit application, which Google says it has been redefined with coaching and AI in its core. The redesigned application includes more intuitive data imaging, improved synchronization, dark way and much more.

Google also announced on Wednesday that it carries the NBA Star Stephen Curry as a “performance consultant” to provide comments on technology products.
