A Guide To The Use Of Edits, Meta's New Capcut

Meta has recently released a new video editing app for creators called edits. The new application is designed to compete with Byteance’s capcut, a popular brief video editing application used by many creators.

Meta shared for the first time that she was working for processes in January after Capcut owned by Bytedance, was removed from US app stores when the Tiktok ban came into force instant. Although the application has returned to the internet and available for download, Tiktok’s future in the US remains uncertain, so Meta is ready to benefit from the possible absence of Capcut in the future with new processing applications.

We have created this guide to guide you through the application and the different features it offers and we provide an overview of the way it is compared to capcut.

How to start with the app

Processes are available for download in both iOS and Android. Once you download the app and open, you will be asked to log in with your Instagram account.

From there you will see five main tabs: ideas, inspiration, projects, records and ideas. The ideas tab offers creators a space to record ideas for new videos and save the wheels in a collection and the inspiration tab has a hub for discovering terminal sounds and other popular wheels.

The works tab is where creators can store and review videos that are currently in progress. This tab is also where creators can upload videos from their camera roll roll. The registration tab allows creators to start turning the video content just in editing. Finally, the Insights tab gives creators an overview of how their content is performed with measurements, such as opinions, approaching and metrics by fans.

Green display: Replace and edit the background of your video with a tap.

Timetable: Just arrange and adjust the clips.

Captions: Add automatic captions to your videos in many languages.

Audio Library: Add music from the Instagram library to your videos.

Cuts: Isolation of specific objects with precision monitoring.

Animate: Turn static images into video using AI.

Apply all: Apply the filters, results, transitions and adjustments to all your clips at the same time.

Selection of timetable pace: Turn your video to the frame rhythm you want to improve the smoothness of playback.

Drivers of alignment: Make sure viewers can see the important parts of your video when they are published and accurately placed the text, emoji or other elements.

Beat Markers: Add an automatic Beat indicator detected to help you align clips, text and overlays with the sound of processing.

Filters: Choose from 30 different filter options to add a unique look to your videos.

Transition: Choose from 30 different transitions to connect different video clip in a smooth way.

How are Capcut processes differ?

While both processes and capcut are excellent options for briefly editing video, there are some differences between the two services.

Capcut offers more powerful processing options, including AI features, than treatments. Of course, this can be expected, as the treatments are much younger than the mites. Meta will probably continue to make modifications in the coming months and years so that we can wait to see more advanced functionality in the future. It is also worth noting that Capcut has a more extensive music library compared to editing.

Another difference is the fact that the processes do not currently have a subscription offer (for now), but Capcut does. While Capcut offers a free version, some of its advanced tools are locked behind a paying subscription. Processes are free to use, but this will probably change in the future as head of Instagram Adam mosseri has stated That later edits may include paid features.

In addition, while the capcut is available on the tissue, the treatment is only for mobile. However, this could change in the future.
