At Amazon’s Fall Falling Event, the company announced that it would bring up the upgraded AI, Alexa+, to Fire TV devices. With Alexa+, Fire TV users will have access to expanded capabilities, such as the ability to ask AI’s most complex questions, get more customized recommendations, find specific scenes in movies and much more.

For example, Fire TV owners could ask Alexa+ for recommendations beyond the basic questions, such as “what is a good movie for a family night?” Now, they could also ask for a recommendation that is similar to a broadcast they had binged last weekend, or for something that characterizes a favorite actor, among others.

In addition, users can ask Alexa+ questions while watching, including things like where something happened, where you know this actor from, questions about the soundtrack or get behind the trivia scenes.

During live sports events, Alexa+ can tell you the score from your favorite team, share player statistics and help you find live streaming events such as prime video, sling TV, Directv and Fubo. You can also request information on the most important points and comments of a previous game.

Another feature will allow you to use Alexa+ to find the right scene in a movie or show, simply asking for natural language commands. Initially, this feature works with “thousands” titles in the prime video, with more soon to come to other platforms, Amazon said.

Meanwhile, the Fire TV software interface will provide improvements to areas such as channel driver, tracking list, continuous monitoring of the series and live features of television and sports.

Amazon has also announced a new series of Fire TV devices, such as Fire TV 2, Series 4, Omni Qled TVs and a new streaming streaming called Fire TV 4K Select. These devices will also be the first to receive the Alexa+upgrade, along with selected TVs from Panasonic and Hisense.

Only in 2025, Amazon launched 250 televisions with its various hardware partners, noted Aidan Marcuss, Vice President of Fire TV, speaking to push Amazon’s live event in New York. And to date, customers have bought nearly 300 million Fire TV devices worldwide.

At the event, Marcuss also showed the latest TV show, Fire TV Omni QLED Series, which can be adapted to room brightness and even activated when you enter. The new line is said to be 60% brighter than previous models with double the local Dimming zones and offers brighter white and more tragic black. It also includes an upgraded processor, Dolby Vision and HDR 10+ adaptive technology.

These televisions will start at $ 479.99 and will come to 50 “, 55”, 65 “and 75” options.

The Fire TV 2 series and Series 4 will also include this automatic adaptation feature, called “Omnisense”, for the first time, as well as something called Boost Dialogue, which will dynamically adapt the sound of film and TV shows to make the dialogue clearer. Both are 30% faster due to the new Quad-Core processor, at Amazon at Press.

TVs 2-Series start at $ 159.99 and come in 32 “and 40” options, while 4-series TVs start at $ 329.99 and come to 43 “, 50” and 55 “.

The Fire TV Stick 4K Select ($ 39.99) is designed to be a more affordable 4K streaming stick with HDR 10+ support and is powered by Amazon’s new operating system, Vega OS. It will work outside the box with all standard streaming services and will soon support Alexa+ as well as Xbox Gaming and Luna.
