The Chinese DHGATE e -commerce market, which is now the first iPhone application in the US, is not the only one to benefit from President Trump’s invoices to US imports from China. Another Chinese purchasing application, TampoIt has also entered the top 5 from Thursday.

US consumers have begun to flock to these applications over the last several days after many Tiktok videos by Chinese manufacturers explaining how much of the market for luxury goods operating from China. The videos claim that many products from top luxury brands – such as clothes, bags, shoes and accessories – are originally made in China. The objects are then sent to the brand’s homeland, such as Italy or France, where they are reassembled after the brand label is applied, according to these videos.

Other US and Chinese creators Tiktok then pointed out e -commerce applications such as DHGATE and Taobao as a way to buy directly from Chinese manufacturers, giving up the huge marking charged luxury brands.

Already cautious of increasing prices in popular applications such as Shein and Temu, US consumers have quickly begun to download these alternatives.

In April, Taobao’s estimated shooting stood at about 185,000 – an increase of 514% of the 30,000 he saw during the same period last month, according to new data from the App Intelligence Provider Competence. As with DHGATE, Taobao’s shots rose last weekend, with facilities growing 5.7 times between Friday and Saturday, the company said.

On Saturday, Taobao entered the top total classes in the iOS App Store at No. 461. Until Sunday, it was No. 188 and until Thursday arrived No. 5.

The change in the rankings represents the increase in application installations as well as speed and other factors.

Taobao has also grown from purchasing application no. 49 on Saturday to apply No. 2, Topping Walmart, Amazon, Shein and Temu. (The Chinese application alibaba.com also goes up to the charts here, now the No. 6 market application on the US App Store.)

Specifically, Appfigures says that Taobao was never on the top total charts in the US Application Store according to its data, which goes back until January 1, 2017.

While alternating shopping applications will not really save us consumers from invoices to Chinese imports, buyers may believe that the market directly from manufacturers could potentially reduce the total cost of their purchases. For other consumers, it’s just a way to look for luxury products or protest at a better price.

Of course, it is still a case of “buyer beware” in any of these markets, where quality can hit or lose. Users are encouraged to read the reviews of individual sellers and see the photos of other buyers of the items before making purchases.
