Facebook is launch The ability of the creators to make money for opinions on public stories. The new revenue option is available worldwide for creators who are part of the Facebook revenue program.

With this new choice of revenue, creators can make money from the content they already produce and share if they put it in their Facebook history. For example, if a creator makes a recipe or cylinder video, they can share an excerpt in their history. They can also make money by publishing history content about their daily lives, as usual.

A company spokesman told TechCrunch in an e -mail that payments are driven by the rendering of the content and that creators can start making money without having to reach a certain threshold for views first.

By creating revenue in stories, Facebook gives creators an additional revenue flow as a way to encourage more content creation on the platform. The launch comes as a meta, it drags Tiktok creators on Facebook and Instagram with the promise of bonuses, content bonuses and support for the development of their communities.

Creators who are part of the revenue program from the content of Facebook and have activated content from content do not need to do anything else to activate the creation of revenue from history.

Facebook launched the content revenue program last year to merge its ads, cylinder ads and performance bonus programs in one. After experimenting with the stories of selected beta participants, the social network now brings the choice of revenue to everyone in the program.

Millions of creators were invited to participate in the program in 2024 and Facebook says it plans to provide open registration at some point this year. In the meantime, creators who are not part of the program can Interest in an invitation through the program website.

Facebook revealed last October that the creators earned more than $ 2 billion on the social network in 2024 and that payments for roles and other short videos increased over 80%. From the introduction of revenue opportunities in 2017, Facebook has paid more than 4 million creators.
