ContextA starting building a office suite powered by AI announced on Wednesday that it raised $ 11 million in a seed -led LUX Capital with the participation of Qualcomm Ventures and General Catalyst. The round, which brings the whole company At about $ 15.75 million, the value of $ 70 million.

Founder Joseph Semrai, a partner Thiel, began working in 2024, realizing that today’s office digital office suites are not suitable to benefit from AI models.

“[W]e have a bundle of different applications that are not necessarily constructed by maintaining the power of [AI models] In mind, “Semrai told TechCrunch in a telephone interview.” We want to take advantage of the fact that [models] It can understand large environmental windows and use multiple applications at the same time to get the best results. ”

In recent years, many newly established productivity and browsing businesses have made changes to the user environment to adopt a conversation-promotion experience, greatly thanks to the rise of AII-powered AIs such as Chatgpt. Semrai believes that the framework, which is similarly focused on conversations, can be a powerful tool for workers using an office suite, similar to the way the runner has become a useful application for developers.

Office suite manufacturers such as Google and Microsoft have been injected AI into their applications. Canva, which is in the historical creative space, also designs products that fit all kinds of offices with the AI in the center. The meaning, meanwhile, constructs A business space of business with search and research mode AI.

Many of these products offer fasteners in third -party applications. But Semrai said that while connecting with sources and data recovery becomes commercialized, new age tools do not always provide potential to help analyze. This, he said, is where the box enters – it is designed to facilitate users to justify the data they receive from various sources and to make decisions on this basis.

The frame has a simple interface with a conversation box in the center. You can ask the AI tool to conduct research coming from your documents, integration and internet knowledge. You can then ask for it to convert all this into a document, a spreadsheet or presentation, and you continue to interact with it to create different objects.

The box also offers a Python interpreter to allow you to run code.

The target does not necessarily replace a fully designated office suite such as Microsoft 365. For example, unlike many AI data analysis products, the frame will soon be able to work offline, allowing simple analysis and documentation based on existing data and documents through the surroundings.

Users can try the box for free with 50 units, a workplace and 10 team members. Alternatively, they can pay $ 20 a month to receive 2,000 units without limits in workplaces and team members.
