Chatgpt opponents like Google’s Gemini, Xai’s Grok and, to a lesser extent, Meta AI, closes the blank in Chatgpt, the popular Ai Chatbot of Openai, according to A new report focused on the landscape of consumer AI by Andreessen Horowitz business.

The report, in its fifth repetition, has two and a half years of data on the evolving use of AI products by consumers.

And for the fifth time, 14 companies appeared on the list of top AI products: Chatgpt, Purplexity, Poe, Character Ai, Midjourney, Leonardo, Veed, Cutout, Elevenlabs, Photoroom, Gamma, Quillbot, Civitai and Hugging Face.

Companies represent a cross -section on how consumers use AI: for general assistance, companionship, images and video processing, voice production, productivity and models.

Five other companies appeared in all except for the first report, the company notes, including Claude, Deepai, Janitor AI, Pixelcut and Suno, representing the use of General AI, companionship, images processing and music production.

For the first time in the series of reports, Google has won four points on the list of top -of -the -line AI consumer consumer products with entries for Gemini, AI Studio, Notebooklm and Google Labs. These products now have their own separate areas, allowing their growth to be located separately.

Andreessen Horowitz reports that its report is based on data from intelligence companies for the purchase of third parties, including similarweb, tissue products and sensor tower for mobile applications.

It should be noted that the no. 2 Gemini closes the gap in No. 1 app Chatgpt on mobile devices, but with almost half so many monthly active users. It is not surprising that Gemini’s AI technology sees stronger adoption in Android, with almost 90% of the monthly active users. On the internet, Gemini also came second behind Chatgpt, with about 12% of Chatgpt visits.

The company’s AI Studio, a Sandbox -oriented Sandbox for the manufacturer with Gemini models, entered the top list of web AI products, sitting at 10th point. Notebooklm was No. 13. Google Labs, a Google AI experiment (eg flow, Mariner Project and Doppl), is classified as No. 39.

The report indicates that Meta AI and Grok also hunt the top AI application, Chatgpt.

Grok took fourth place on the web and No. 23 in Mobile. This is the rapid growth, as Grok went from not being autonomous in late 2024 (started for the first time in X) so far, with 20 million monthly active users. In July 2025, Grok also rose to almost 40% when Grok 4 was released.

Meta’s general assistant occupied No. 46 on the web – the same as in March – but did not make the list of top AI applications. In part, it was hampered by the news that Meta AI publicly shared some users online users without their consent.

Deepseek and Claude also saw their growth leveraging the cellphone, with the first falling from his climax by 22%. On the internet, Deepseek saw an even more intense fall, below 40% from its top in February 2025.

Other Chinese AI manufacturers also made the top 20 on the internet, including No. 9 Quark, Alibaba’s Assistant AI (No. 47 in the mobile directory). No. 12 Doubao, BYTEDance’s General LLM product (no. 4 on mobile). and no. 17 Kimi, a chatbot from Moonshot AI. Each of them has a Chinese website and sees 75% of its traffic from China.

Seven additional web list were developed in China, but exported AI technology worldwide: Deepseek, Hailuo, Kling, Seaart, Cutout Pro, Manus and Monica.

On mobile, 22 of the top 50 applications were developed in China, but only three were mainly used in China. The top players here include Meitu (Photo & Video Editor, BeautyPlus, Beautycam, Wink and Airbrush), Bytedance (Doubao and Cici), Gauth and Hypic.

The newly established businesses that codify Vibe and Replit, which have debuted on the main list this time, since they did not cut the A16Z list published in March this year. (Note that the sites manufactured and published via Replit and through lovables without customized areas appear under the circulation for replit.app and lovable.app, respectively, helping them to gain attraction.)

Andreessen Horowitz also took time to invite AI applications on the brink of production of top AI applications, including Pixai, Bolt, Blackbox AI, Clipchamp and Getliner on the Internet and Talkie, Seekee, Photo AI, AI Mirror and Arvin on Mobile.

The company notes that the list of mobile phones in this month’s report already has more newcomers (14) than before, as well as both applications stores have long been rejected in copgpt copycats and clones, allowing more original applications to find their base.
