There seems to be a new, more impressive AI model every week. Given the fast pace, how can the founders better place themselves to make the top of this technology? To TechCrunch sessions: aiOn June 5 at the Zellerbach Hall at UC Berkeley, we will host a panel with “how the founders can rely on existing fundamental models” to answer some existential questions faced by the newly established AI companies.

We are excited to have leaders from Google Deepmind, Cohere and Twelve Labs – Three companies at the forefront of AI model development – to help us answer some of these questions.

Participants can hear directly from the source about what AI model developers are trying to build on how AI models improve and where the starting founders should (and should not) build. Kilpatrick drives the product for Google Ai Studio and helps developers to rely on the top of Google Gemini, one of the top AI models in the industry. Kilpatrick has previously led the developers’ relationships to Openai.

We will also be united with Sara Hooker, Cohere’s leader for AI – the AI ​​research lab in one of Silicon Valley’s hottest newly established AIs, Cohere. Specializing in AI for Enterprise, Cohere has a unique picture of how businesses are currently using AI foundations. Hooker is a widely respected AI researcher who spent many years on Google and was named one of the 100 most influential people of the time in AI in 2024.
