Google on Tuesday announced New software updates for Pixel phones as part of the “Pixel Drop” program for March. Pixel watches and all Android devices also receive some new features with this version. The most remarkable sections of the update include AI use to detect fraud in messages and calls, better categorization of Screenshot application, menstrual monitoring on the Pixel Watch 3 and the ability to share your live location with your friends through Find My Devices application.

Pixel phone features

Google begins a detection of call fraud using the company’s Gemini Nano model for all users of the Pixel 9 Pixel 9 Pixel series in the US, the feature is on Beta for now. The company ran a limited beta using two different models-gemini Nano models on Pixel 9 devices, and mechanical learning for Pixel 6 and younger users. After the test, the company found that the use of Gemini Nano was the best way to go.

The company said it is processing conversations on your device and its processing is ephemeral in nature. At any point in the conversation, it can warn users of possible fraud.

In other news, with March updating, Google adds support to add multiple external photographs to the Pixel 9 series. For example, you can add a Pixel Gopro or other Pixel camera to help you transmit to platforms through various angles.

The company also adds the ability to create images of people through text prompts to the Pixel Studio application with support for English, Japanese and German. So far, the application has not supported the production of human images.

In the meantime, the Screenshot application receives an update where it will automatically recommend screenshots that will be added to content based collections. In addition, the app is available for your Pixel 9 Pixel Devices Profile.

With the latest update, Pixel Fold users can use the double -screen ability to see what is recorded using the external screen. In addition, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold external display takes on the “add me” function that uses AI to place the person who takes the photo to a group.

Google also adds satellite messaging support for Pixel 9 users which are Verizon or T-Mobile customers. The company is expanding the availability of satellite messages to users of Canada, EMEA, Hawaii and Alaska.

Another feature will allow all people who use Pixel 6 and the newer Pixel watches and Pixel tablets to transfer their registration from other devices and transcribe them using the Recorder app.

Twins updates

Google updates Gemini Live’s multimodal capabilities for Pixel 6 and the latest devices, as well as Fold Pixel devices. This means that users can add images, files and videos YouTube while using Gemini Live and ask questions to AI assistant.

The company also launches a way to have multilingual conversations with Gemini Live without changing the languages manually. This feature currently supports over 45 languages.

Earlier this week, at the Mobile World Congress, Google has announced that the company will introduce video and screen support for Gemini Live in a few weeks.

Android updates

If you have an Android device that is not a Pixel phone, you will have some new features. Google focuses on detecting fraud with the latest update. The company uses AI to detect patterns when someone makes you messages. Users will receive real -time warning if the system detects a possible fraud message.

The company also adds new features to the Find My Devices app that allows you to send your current location to your friends and family and receive their live location there.

Google also adds a new voice toolbar to Goard to facilitate dictation.

When using your phone via Android Auto, you will be able to play Saga Farm Heroes, Soda Candy Crush Soda, Angry Birds 2 and Beach Buggy Racing when your car is parked.

Pixel watch updates

Google has received clearance from the US FDA for the ability to lose pulse for Pixel Watch 3. This feature automatically comes into contact with emergency services when the person wearing a clock does not respond to cases of cardiac arrest, respiratory or circulatory, overdose or poisoning.

If you have a Pixel 3 clock, you will be able to activate menstrual monitoring on a device for recording or daily alerts.

The company adds better steps monitoring to all Pixel watches to watch more accurately events such as the push of a shopping basket or wheelchair, jogging with a stroller or hiking with poles.
