Creating friends as an adult can be tough, especially after the transition to a new city. Fortunately, there is modern technology and more people are turning to applications such as Bumble for Friends, Flox and Timeleft to quickly form new friendships.

An app called Les amis It aims to stand out with the aim of women, transsexuals and LGBTQ+individuals, especially in the mid -20s to the early 1940s.

Les Amis uses AI to combine users with similar interests and encourages them to participate in local events offered, such as pottery classes, books, wine tastings and pilates.

Anna Bilych (Ex-PayPal) created the application in 2022 alongside the co-founder of Oleg Pashinin (Ex-Google AI), after struggling to rebuild her social circle after its relocation.

Now, the European application is currently circulating in US markets. It started in New York earlier this month.

The app includes an AI assistant called “Amis”, which helps in the matching process. Every two weeks, users can participate in matching rounds where AI connects them to a possible friend based on common interests.
