Meta already puts roles in the center of Instagram experience on the iPad and mobile in countries such as India and South Korea. Now, in order to allow more people to consume and understand roles in different languages, the company adds support for Hindi and Portugal to the characteristic of AI translation throughout Instagram and Facebook.

The company started this feature in August with support for English and Spanish, after teasing it at the Meta Connect conference last year. With the support of Hindi and Portugal, Meta aims to make the most of its largest markets, such as India and Brazil, have a worldwide range.

“We believe there are many amazing creators out there who have a potential audience who do not necessarily speak the same language,” Instagram leader Adam Mosseri explained A post on Instagram in August.

“And if we can help you get to these audiences that speak other languages, reach cultural and linguistic obstacles. We can help you develop your following and gain more value than Instagram and the platform,” he added.

Users can activate automatic translation in their preferred language to consume roles originally created in another language.

Creators can activate the automatic translation for their wheels by activating the “Translate Your Voice with Meta AI” before publishing. They can also choose which languages ​​will be translated after reviewing the translated video with DUB and LIP automatic synchronization.

Meta said she is working on new features for AI translation that will be released shortly. Facebook cylinders are already supporting multi -speaker translations AI. Meta said this feature will be available for creators posting Instagram soon.

In addition to voice translations, the company also creates a way to translate the text or caption stickers published with roles in supported languages. In addition, Meta plans to develop a new voice feature that will maintain the original voice and tone of the creator. The company will also give the option to choose a new version of lip-syncing that best suits your mouth movement.
