Seven years after Mirror’s revelation to TechCrunch Disrupt 2018, Brynn Putnam returns to the stage where everything started. The serial businessman who turned into a $ 500 million gymnastics idea by Lululemon will make her debut in her latest business TechCrunch disturbs 2025 at the San Francisco Moscone West in October.

Putnam’s path from this revolution that disturbs the moment to this day is a very clever story. The Mirror, the connected gym that brought boutique home training courses, started just as the pandemic created unprecedented demand for home fitness solutions. The timetable proved to be so president that Lululemon acquired the company for $ 500 million just two years after its debut.

Now Putnam bets on another cultural shift – the growing desire to disconnect from the screens and reconnect with your family and friends in person. Its new company, which still operates in Stealth mode, develops consumer gambling material designed to bring people face to face instead of isolating them behind individual devices.

“We are ready to enter a golden age of material,” Putnam recently told Techcrunch in one of the investors focused Strict nightsshowing the convergence of mature viewing technologies, accessible accessories and AI capabilities that make new forms of interactive devices possible.

The new business represents a displacement of priorities for Putnam. Where Mirror was about individual performance and self-improvement, its latest work focuses on shared experiences and strengthening relationships. It describes it as using technology not as a primary experience, but as a factor for better human connections.

Designing inspiration from Nintendo’s philosophy for the use of “withered side thought technology” – mature, affordable accessories combined with innovative experiences – Putnam follows the Playbook that made the Mirror successful. Instead of pushing technological boundaries, however, it focuses on creating exciting user experiences with proven material.

The gambling area represents a natural next step for Putnam, who created its reputation in understanding the way technology can motivate behavior change. Her boutique fitness studios taught how to create exciting group experiences, lessons that applied to the mirror’s virtual classes and now in gambling scenarios that encourage face -to -face interaction.

Lerer Hippeau, the business business that has led the Mirror $ 3 million seed tour, has already participated in an extremely competitive round of funding for the new Putnam company, signaling investor confidence in its ability to detect and exploit consumer trends.

The timetable is also aligned with a broader resuscitation in the investment of consumer material. After years of focusing on business software and AI infrastructure, investors have a refreshed interest in the material facing consumers who can use AI and mature ingredients for the creation of new categories of devices.

Putnam’s appearance on the Disrupt 2025 comes as TechCrunch is celebrating its 20th anniversary and participants can be ensured that we gather the biggest names in technology to share information about the future of innovation.

Meanwhile, for businessmen and investors watching consumer technology trends, Putnam’s return to Stadium It will provide the opportunity to see how one of the most successful recent founders in the category is the placement for the next wave of innovation.
