Starting from the smartphone nothing will sell the next flagship model, the phone nothing (3), in the US through its website and Amazon, TechCrunch has learned exclusively.

Nothing, which will not present the new phone at the beginning of next month in London, has released eight phones since its founding in 2020, but only one, the phone (2), has reached general sale in the US so far. Before that, users had to subscribe to buy a phone through a Beta program and there was no post -sale support, although you could return the device within 14 days to get a full refund.

“We have always said we are building in the long run and now we are ready to take this next step on the American phone (3) is not just another launch.

“We’ve already seen strong conversion rates from users going to nothing and by phone (3). We go after this opportunity in a much more focused way.

Pei is a banking for the fact that nothing focuses on diversifying its smartphones design will attract people looking for alternatives for Apple, Samsung and Google.

From the box, the phone (3) will support the AT&T and T-Mobile coverage with multi-band support for 4G and 5G-this is one step above the limited compatibility with the carrier of its previous models (2A), the phone (2a) Plus and the CMF Phone 1.

And in Canada, nothing works with Best Buy to sell his new flagship, along with a new excess ear model, headphones (1), on the retail channels for the first time.

In a video in March, Pei said that nothing phone 3 would have high quality materials, significant performance upgrades and “software that really levels things”. He also said that the device would prove about £ 800, which could be translated into about $ 1,000 in the US that would put the phone (3) in direct competition with the iPhone 16 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S25+.

According to Counterpoint Research research firm, the mission numbers for 2024 were in the “low single -digit millions”, and India was its largest market.

The company’s senior researcher Maurice Klaehne told TechCrunch that Google and Motorola have made some inputs in the US in the Premium Devision Market, dominated by Samsung and Apple. He added that while the former Pei company, OnePlus, also sells unlocked devices in the US, its shipping volumes are low. This means that nothing has uphill climbing in front of the North America market.

Nothing has so far increased more than $ 250 million in many rounds.
