Oura announced on Wednesday that the Ceramic Oula Ring 4 is launching its first collection of smart rings with no metal finishes. The company also announced its first charging case, a new feature of the health groups that allows members to plan blood to work directly in the ORA application, multiple rings and much more.

The new oura 4 ceramic ring is made of zirconia ceramic, which the company says it allows durability and light comfort. Oura describes its new pottery collection as a combination of “style and comfort”.

Oura says that, unlike painted or coated finishes, the color on the rings comes from natural minerals in the pottery itself, so it remains alive and does not fade over time.

Ceramic Oura Ring 4 comes with a glass pillow that can wipe scuffs that can be caused by softer metals, such as those found in cookware or dumbbells. To avoid removal, Oura suggests wearing the ring on your non -dominant hand to avoid unnecessary effects.

The ring comes in four colors: tide, cloud, horseshoe and midnight. The collection is available at $ 499, with members pricing of $ 5.99 per month or $ 69.99 per year. The rings are available in sizes 4-15.

“We want to give people even more reasons to wear an Oula ring and do this with the Ceramic Ring 4 collection,” Jason Russell told TechCrunch. “They are made of this Zirconia ceramic material that is very unique. It is traditionally more that you will see in watchmaking or jewelry and you can see the colors are youthful. They are expressive but also quite neutral for daily wear.”

“And you know, this is really a product that is not just a technological product,” Russell continued. “Is it something you wear in your body obviously and believe that a lot about how we give people new ways to express themselves?

As for the new Ring 4 Oura Ring 4 charging case, the company says it was created in response to members who demanded a way to charge their ring while on the go.

The case stores up to five full ring charges and operates with a USB-CC cable. Both the case and the oula ring are fully charged in 90 minutes. Oura says the case can also serve as a safe way to store your ring when you don’t wear it.

The billing case costs $ 99 and will be available for order later this year.

Oura also introduced the health panels to implement it, allowing members to monitor 50 biomarkers alongside their daily sleep, readiness and activity. With the health panels, members use the ORA application to close a blood test in one of the 2,000 Quest Diagnostics search laboratories in all US for $ 99.

“You will be able to walk and make this blood become,” Russell said. “And then these results will really come directly to you in the Oura application. We will notify you when they are ready and see an overview.”

“We will show you what is in the range, what is out of range.

Members can ask questions in the app such as “what does my A1C mean 5.7%?” or “How do I improve my cholesterol profile?”

Blood biomarkers and oura ring data can reveal patterns and connections between lifestyle, behaviors and underlying health tendencies that Oura says, otherwise it will go unnoticed.

Russell explained that the idea behind the health panels is to provide users affordable access to integrated blood tasks. He notes that when you visit a doctor on a particular issue, they often order laboratory tests and focus only on this concern when the results come.

This means that other valuable data in results are often overlooked or difficult to interpret. These broader data can provide important knowledge of your overall health and potential underlying conditions, he noted.

While services that allow you to get blood tests on your own already exist, Russell said it can be expensive and cost hundreds of dollars, so Oura starts the health panels at $ 99.

Finally, Oura announced that members can now combine and change between different oura 4 ring colors under a single account. The company says this functionality allows members to match our OURA ring until their day, whether they change them for a workout or for an outfit.
