The Digital Payments Stripe platform invites customers to participate in management team meetings in two weeks so they can receive “honest feedback”, according to co -founder Patrick Collison.
In a position on April 8 at xFintech Giant’s chief executive said the company has a customer to participate in the first 30 minutes of the meeting, which is being watched by about 40 “stripe” leaders.
“Even if we already have many customer feedback mechanisms, it always pushes new thoughts and research,” he wrote.
It is an interesting Stripe strategy, founded in 2010 and is considered the highest private fintech in the world (its latest valuation was $ 91.5 billion).
Over the years, newly formed businesses have unequivocally complained that Stripe has focused more on its older customers than the younger ones who wanted to serve. But the company has to do something right. Stripes annual letter In February made by Collison noted that the volume of payment in 2024 increased to $ 1.4 trillionan increase of 38% in the previous year.
Stripe also added in the letter that it is now used by half of Fortune 100 companies, stressing how it has collapsed from a startup working with other newly established businesses in an important business player.
In the post on x, Collison responded to Cloudflare CTO’s question When his company received an invitation with one, “I would love to have you children … they will get out”.
At the point of smaller businesses that feel neglected, an investor I wrote: “Hi Patrick – You know I’m admiring @Film – But you should pay attention to the extent that things have been downgraded to the indie community using stripe. I made support messages a week ago – no answer, things are very complicated. There are more things, but it’s a mess. ”
Many praised the movement, with a treater Noting: “You love this, it keeps culture focused on what matters and helps in reality (sic).”
And, of course, some stripe customers used the x post to publish their complaints (here and here).
However, a high profile founder appeared to approve Stripe’s approach: Elon Musk responded In posting with a simple, “good idea”.
