A federal judge has granted a preliminary prohibition that prevents the federal trade committee investigation into the media outlet of the federal team.

Back in 2023, media issues published by large companies’ ads were published in parallel with the anti -Semitic and other aggressive content in the X Elon Musk. When large advertisers then pulled behind the platform, X Sued Media matters. He also began advertisers and advertisers in what he claimed to be a “systematic illegal boycott”.

After Musk then Donald Trump again took over his duty in January, FTC also launched an investigation into whether they had media issues illegal partnerships with advertisers.

On Friday, however, Judge Sparkle L. Sooknann fell on media issues and prevented FTC’s investigation. In her decisionSooknan (a Regional Court Judge on the Columbia District appointed by Joe Biden) wrote that the media article represented the “Quintessence for First Amendment” and the “expansive” investigation of the FTC appears to be “act of retaliation”.

“They should worry about all Americans when the government is opposed to people or organizations to take a constitutionally protected public debate,” he wrote. “And this alarm should hit even louder when the government contrasts against those who deal with newsgathering and reporting.”

Sooknan noted that before his appointment as a current FTC chair, Andrew Ferguson had appeared on Steve Bannon’s podcast and called on FTC to explore the progressive groups criticizing online misinformists and then “brought several senior officials to FTCs who were criticized by Information. “

FTC did not immediately respond to an email TechCrunch, asking whether it intends to appeal.

Sooknan said the FTC’s research also had the “predicted result”, urging the media to decide “against the pursuit of some FTC stories, President Ferguson and Mr Musk”.
