The Innovation Award of the Year celebrates the boldest and most visionary newly formed businesses on display at Vivatech 2025. Open to all exhibitions, the prize honors those who push the boundaries and redefine the industries. The newly established companies were rated for innovation and creativity, market disorder and scalability. From hundreds of applicants, 30 made the short list.

The top five will live in Vivatech on June 11 and the winner will be revealed at the Vivatech Global awards ceremony on June 12. The prize? A step socket at the ceremony, a free starting angle in Vivatech 2026, and a coveted spot on TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200. This award recognizes not only great ideas, but also groups that turn bold visions into play -change realities.

The candidates for this year have slaughtered us. From the conversion of glasses into dogs with self-driving, to the construction of photon chips that could redefine the calculation, in converting the mining waste into carbon sinks-this short list is full and important thinking with real bet. We saw the microobot flocks for space exploration, the AI ​​that reads your mind to control the devices and bioelectronic implants that fight brain cancer.

These newly established businesses are pushing science, design and mechanics at new heights, especially in areas such as viability, human machine interfaces, advanced diagnostic and affordable health care. What stood out the most was the boldness. These groups are not just problem -solving – they build the future from the ground. The choice of five finalists – let alone a winner – will be incredibly tough. Each start in this Top 30 has already earned serious boom rights.
