At Amazon’s Falling Material on Tuesday, the company unveiled the newest Kindle Scripbe and its first color Kindle Scribe, both start with new AI features.

The new Kindle scribe has a larger 11 -inch shine display, is just 5.4mm thick and weighs only 400g. It is also 40% faster when writing or turning pages. Amazon says it has a new textured glass to improve friction when the pen slips on the screen to make it feel like writing on paper.

The device also comes with a new Quad-Core Chip, more memory and the latest oxide appearance technology to make everything feel smoother.

There are two versions of the Kindle Scripbe, one with a front light system and one without. The front light scribe will be available later this year in the USA starting at $ 499.99. The front light -free version will be available at the beginning of next year for $ 429.99.

As for the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft, Amazon says it has appearance technology that creates soft colors that are soft and do not harm your eyes as a LCD screen. The company also developed a new performance engine that enhances the color and ensures that the writing is fast and natural. In addition, the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft provides battery life weeks, Amazon notes.

The Kindle Scribe Colorsoft will be available starting at $ 629.99.

The devices have a new home experience that allows users to do something down and open recently and add books, documents and notebooks. Amazon expects that both devices are used for handwritten notes and devices include important product integration to enhance this experience. A feature will allow users to search for their notes in their notebooks and receive simple AI summaries. Next year, users will be able to send their notes and documents to Alexa+ and have a more involved discussion about them.

In addition, Colorsoft allows artists to create smooth slopes and fine shades with a new Shader tool. Users can write, design and comment in one of the 10 colors or highlight in one of the five Highlighter colors.

The devices will also include new AI reading features. A new “Story” feature will allow users to cover the book they read today until they have read. A “Ask This Book” feature will allow users to highlight every passage of the text when reading a book and receive spoiler without questions in questions about things such as the motivation of a character or the meaning of a scene.

These features will be available in books that users have bought or borrowed in the Kindle iOS application later this year and Kindle devices early next year.
