Human is Starting a new API This allows Claude AI models to look for the web. Developers who use it can manufacture CLAUDE applications that provide up -to -date information, the company said in a press release published Wednesday.

The development of API comes as AI companies seem to increase their models in different ways that could attract new customers to their platforms. For its part, humanity made the debut of a tool to link applications to Claude as well as an extensive “deep research” capability that allows Enterprise accounts, websites and more.

“Developers can now increase Claude’s complete knowledge of real -world data, allowing the web search tool while submitting applications for [our] API, “Anthropic wrote in his release.” With tissue search, developers can now create AI solutions that use current information without having to manage their own web search infrastructure. “

When the web search API is activated, Claude will use “reasoning” capabilities to determine if a specific request will benefit from upgraded information or specialized knowledge. If Claude decides to search on the web, he will create a search question, recover the results, analyze them and give an answer with references.

Claude can also improve his questions and conduct multiple searches using previous results to update the next questions. Developers can adapt this behavior as well as determine areas by which Claude is allowed and are not allowed to look for. Devs can also allow or prohibit the use of internet search at an organization, says Anthropic.

In related news, Anthropic brings the search for tissue to the Claude Code, his tool that allows Devs to press Claude to complete various coding tasks. With the web search activated, the Claude Code can access the current API documentation, technical articles and other information tools and libraries.

The Claude Code remains in Beta as a research preview.
