Google announced Monday that it is introducing a new feature that allows iOS users to easily change between work and Google personal accounts in Chrome. Previously, iOS users had to be completely withdrawn from a Google account and then connect with another and repeat this process whenever they wanted to access a different account.

“Many of us use our mobile devices for both tasks and personal tasks. Often weighing many Google accounts” Google wrote in a blog post. “This can constantly mean signature and out. Chrome now offers support for managing account browsing that creates a strict data separation from other tours and seamless alternation between accounts.”

When users connect or go to their Google account at Chrome, the browsing associated with their body will be kept separate from the other tour of the device. Local data and content, including tabs, history and passwords, remain only in the managed account browser. Google says this is ideal for both end users and IT managers.

The update comes as Google says many organizations are removed from the company’s phones, which means that employees often have to have access to the company’s resources from their personal phones and computers. Google says that the improved account change experience and data separation “best allow businesses to allow employees to use their choice device”.

The first time users connect or go to a managed account, they will see a boarding display that explains the separation of account management and how their organization handles their data.

Organizations keep control and can decide how existing browsing data is treated when a user initially signs or goes to a managed account. Once users go to their managed account, they are informed that they enter a managed experience.

Google has also announced that it has incorporated more advanced security features that can apply the IT departments.

Chrome Enterprise’s reference capabilities are now expanding to both Android and iOS, which means that organizations can now send critical data related to security events to the Google Logs, Chrome Logs Management Console or Siem of their choice. Google says this allows IT groups to make more up -to -date decisions on overall security.

Google also brings URL to iOS, allowing organizations to do things like employees to block employees from visiting banned Genai sites at the level of class and redirect them to approved corporate services.
